The Balparmak Beekeeping Academy, funded by the EBRD and implemented by ANKON, which aims to bring women and young people in rural areas into the sector and increase the production of bee products, won the “Women Friendly Brands 2021 Consumer Special Award”.
“Women Friendly Brands 2021 Consumer Special Awards” is organized by the Women Friendly Brands Platform, which brings together social responsibility projects carried out by brands in areas such as education, health, sports, technology, employment, gender equality, equality of social opportunities, empowerment and support of women. On March 8, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the award found its owner with a ceremony held in Istanbul.
