17 Nov Corporate Sustainability Leaders Summit | 12–13 November 2025
As ANKON Consulting, we participated in the Corporate Sustainability Leaders Summit organized by the Public Oversight Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority (KGK) and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) on November 12–13, followed by the ISSB Workshop program, with our KGK-accredited trainers.
On the first day of the summit, hosted by Halkbank at the Istanbul Financial Center, the Sustainability Disclosure Reporting Platform (SARP), representing KGK’s vision for digitalization in reporting, was introduced. The panel, which shared the banking sector’s first-year experiences with TSRS reporting, was invaluable in demonstrating the pace of transformation and needs of the sector.
On the second day, a comprehensive workshop organized by the ISSB addressed IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 standards, sustainability-related risks and opportunities, scenario analysis, climate-related metrics and targets, and detailed technical content on Scope 3 emissions. In this context, the case studies presented by Beko Corporate and Kordsa regarding Scope 3 emissions attracted considerable attention from participants, both in terms of their methodological approach and practical examples, and provided a highly informative framework.
At ANKON, we are delighted to contribute to the process of aligning with international standards in sustainability reporting and to be a part of this transformation.
