16 Jan Health and Safety Specialist
ANKON Consulting provides technical advisory services on occupational health and safety for energy and infrastructure projects financed by international financial institutions. Within this scope, ANKON is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Specialist to support the assessment and management of health and safety risks throughout the project lifecycle.
The Health and Safety Specialist will contribute to the identification and mitigation of occupational and community health and safety risks, with a particular focus on the design and operational safety of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The position involves working closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure that health and safety considerations are integrated into project design and implementation in line with IFI and EBRD requirements.
Requirements:
- Preferably B.Sc. degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant sector
- Preferably 5 years’ experience in similar projects
- Specific experience in design and operational safety of BESS and assessing occupational and community safety risks and mitigations
