05 Jan Power Systems Engineer (Distribution-Level RE/BESS Integration)
ANKON Consulting is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to support technical work related to distribution-level renewable energy integration, grid capacity assessment, and energy storage solutions.
The expert will be responsible for conducting technical analyses, supporting distribution grid integration assessments, contributing to hybrid RE and battery storage system design processes, and preparing related technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in power systems engineering, with a focus on distribution-level renewable energy integration,
- Strong technical expertise in distributed generation interconnection, load-flow analysis, SCADA, grid stability, and frequency/voltage management,
- Hands-on experience with hybrid renewable energy + Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects,
- Familiarity with Türkiye’s distribution grid codes, capacity allocation methodologies, and technical requirements for RE integration,
- In-depth knowledge of unlicensed renewable energy project development, including permitting, implementation, operation, and decommissioning,
- Proven ability to conduct technical assessments, identify grid bottlenecks, and propose practical engineering solutions,
- Experience in preparing feasibility studies, technical specifications, and system integration plans,
- Excellent report writing skills in English (Turkish will be an advantage).
