Project Assistant

ANKON Consulting is looking for a Project Assistant for its Headquarters Office, Ankara.

Required Experience and Qualifications;

  • University degree from a reputable university (especially Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences graduates),
  • Fluency in written and spoken Turkish and English,
  • Full computer literacy, advanced level of competency in MS Office programs (MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook),
  • Strong time management and organizational skills,
  • Ability to work flexible hours and  have strong project-oriented skills,
  • Based in Ankara with no travel restrictions,
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
  • Multi-tasking skills, including the ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines and attention to detail,
  • Capacity to work effectively within a team,
  • Having a previous experience in relavant position will be an asset.

 

Responsibilities;

  • Screening and identification of current, new and future project opportunities
  • Conducting research to collect background information, data, statistics; explore alternative sources of information,
  • Developing an understanding and follow-up with procedures of IFIs and contracting authorities,
  • Assist in identification of project partners / collaborators,
  • Maintaining and enhancing networks with international/local experts, project partners and other stakeholders,
  • Conducting administrative processes for project / tender preparations,
  • Preparation of Expression of Interest (EoI),
  • Assist in the Tender preparations
  • Assist in identification of local and international experts and consultants for projects
  • Daily administrative support to the projects under ANKON Portfolio,
  • Daily correspondence and relations with the beneficiaries and the CAs when required,
  • Support daily correspondence and relations between consortium partners,
  • Support to the follow up of the timely submission of the reports, project outputs and deliverables,
  • Contribute to reporting activities and other project documentation,
  • Keeping the meeting minutes, ensuring and followed up that the minutes are delivered to the relevant authorities.
