05 Jan Renewable Energy Regulatory Expert
ANKON Consulting is seeking a Renewable Energy Regulatory Expert to support analytical and technical work related to renewable energy legislation, permitting processes, and institutional coordination in Türkiye.
The expert will contribute to the assessment and streamlining of regulatory and permitting frameworks, development of practical guidance tools, and enhancement of administrative procedures related to renewable energy deployment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in energy sector regulation with a focus on renewable energy,
- In-depth knowledge of Türkiye’s renewable energy regulatory framework, including permitting, licensing, and unlicensed generation,
- Familiarity with amendments to the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulation, Environmental Law revisions, and Nearly Zero-Energy Building (nZEB) obligations,
- Proven ability to conduct policy and regulatory analysis and develop practical recommendations to streamline permitting processes,
- Experience working with EMRA, TEİAŞ, TEDAŞ, distribution companies, provincial directorates, and relevant public/private stakeholders is highly desirable,
- Strong experience in preparing regulatory guidance documents, checklists, and process maps,
- Excellent report writing skills in English (Turkish is an advantage).
