The overall objective of the project developed by The Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC – OIC) is to empower Libyan entrepreneurs, start-ups, and SMEs through facilitating new sustainable businesses creation and growth via providing a highly-integrated business development services and match-making facilities in partnership with the Turkish SMEs ecosystem. This will definitely lead to a more developed economy, less unemployment rates, new sustainable jobs creation, new products and services and more strategic linkages between business development programs with the local institutions. In this scope, following key tasks will be undertaken:
- Provide an appropriate environment for SMEs and start-upsto develop their innovative ideas for their businesses growth and access to markets strategies though establishing a business incubator in Turkey that is dedicated to offer innovative means for access to markets, knowledge transfer, and smart partnerships models.
- Build the Capacity and strengthen the Libyan entrepreneurs, SMEs, mentors, and business development services providersthrough providing entrepreneurship training and on-job internship program in partnership with Turkish SMEs incubators and zones, and private companies.
- Facilitate the development of new and existing SMEsthrough offering access to new markets mechanisms, building smart partnerships with Turkish ecosystem. This includes raising their standards and creating new opportunities
