ANKON Consulting is looking for Consultant/s to support its ongoing Operations and Business Development activities to be based at the headquarters in Ankara. Candidates with:
- University degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences or similar,
- Master’s degree is an asset,
- Excellent command of written and spoken Turkish and English is required,
- Full computer literacy (Windows, MS Office, MS Excel, other),
- At least 2 years of professional experience in IFI funded projects, knowledge of EU project cycle, PRAG rules and procedures,
- Working experience in international project consultancy (EU, World Bank, UN, EBRD, KfW,etc funded projects…),
- Ability, qualifications and skills to work with Local/International experts in projects,
- Based in Ankara, no travel restrictions for local and international projects,
- Excellent social, interpersonal and communication skills; excellent reporting skills,
- Follow-up, problem solving and organizational skills, ability to meet strict deadlines,
- Good communication and inter-personal skills,
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, including the ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines, attention to detail,
- Capacity to work effectively within a team.
The Consultant/s will mainly be responsible for:
- Conducting administrative processes for project / tender preparations,
- Identification of local and international partners and experts for projects,
- Preparation of Expression of Interest (EoI) and Tender Files for projects,
- Screening and identification of current, new and future project opportunities,
- Research to collect background information, data, statistics; explore alternative sources of information,
- Providing sector know-how,
- Developing, maintaining and enhancing networks with international/local experts, project partners and other stakeholders, etc.
- Managing project documentation,
- Preparation of meeting agenda/minutes/materials, presentations,
- Follow up of the timely submission of the reports, project outputs and deliverables.
