The project seeks to bolster social and economic cohesion among Syrian refugees and Turkish host communities by enhancing their employability and qualifications. The project decreases poverty, reduce social vulnerability, and stabilize regions most affected by the Syrian refugees.
The project aims to increase access to inclusive, quality vocational education and training for Syrians under Temporary Protection and Turkish adolescents aged 14-17 in high-demand trades.
In its second phase, the project will focus on:
Upgrading an additional 50 schools with new educational equipment and basic renovations.
Providing support packages to Syrian refugees and disadvantaged Turks.
Offering financial assistance for student transportation, meals, clothing, and specialized learning materials.
Supporting activities to raise awareness of project initiatives, promote cohesion, and foster conducive teaching and learning environments.
