TANAP celebrated national and global achievements in the fields of environmental management, sustainable development and public benefit with by holding a special reception in Ankara.

TANAP General Manager Saltuk Düzyol and TANAP Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, Social, Environment and Compliance Director Fatih Erdem hosted the reception, where the results of TANAP and its Social and Environmental Investment Programs (SEIP) and the achievements were shared. At the same time, the Project Compendium which compiles the achievements and successful results was presented. The Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources (MENR) and World Energy Council (WEC) Chairman Mr Alparslan Bayraktar and Azerbaijan Delegation were accompanied by distinguished guests from various countries, diplomats and other foreign mission representatives.

TANAP-SEIP reached 1,018 projects in 20 provinces, 67 districts and 600 villages on the TANAP route. The projects implemented within the scope of SEIP, which touches large segments with high social impact, have received 7 awards in the international arena so far.ANKON Consulting, in consortium with Aqwadem, is implementing the Technical Assistance for TANAP Social and Environmental Investment Programme which develops a coherent ecosystem along TANAP natural gas pipeline and contributes in maintaining the economic and social development and preservation of natural resources.
