The SQIT Project is a technical assistance Project proposed by the Republic of Turkey Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade and Turkish Society for Quality (KALDER) with the aim of contributing to the free movement of goods between Turkey and EU and to the elimination of technical obstacles in trade between two parties. In this framework, the project aims to provide support to Turkish Public Bodies, Private Sector, Certification Bodies and Consumer Associations on the EU Technical Legislation, accreditation, standardization, conformity assessment, metrology/calibration and market surveillance in the scope of the 4 components as follows;

  • Short Term Technical Assistance (Training on technical legislations, standards and policies of EU with respect to free movement of goods)
  • Conferences and Awareness Raising Campaigns
  • Country Reports
  • Inter-Laboratory Comparison and Proficiency Testing
