The overall objective of the project is to reduce anthropogenic GHG emissions to contribute to the global efforts to mitigate climate change in line with the scientific evidence. More specifically, the project will contribute to an increased capacity for transposition of EU legislation and capacity building on F-Gases. The following services will be provided for transposition of EU legislation and capacity building on F-Gases:

• Preparation of a fully fletched national legislation, establishing data base, conducting e-reporting and registry activities
• Dissemination of country-wide training and certification programme for personnel and companies performing in this field
• Awareness raising activities for environment-friendly alternatives of F-Gases
• Preventing leakages and emissions of F-gases
• Preparation of an estimation including data collection and survey studies with application of Tier 2 and Tier 3 methodologies
• Promoting phase out and proper waste treatment
• Developing a harmonized electronic reporting system
• Conducting legislative gap analysis
