ANKON was commissioned by the Ministry of Interior’s Directorate General of Population and UNOPS to provide project management and implementation assistance for MERNİS.

ANKON established and maintained the Project Management Support Unit and supplied information system development experts. Services included planning and control, procurement, World Bank-compliant tender documents for IT hardware and system engineering, IT contract management, staff training, project accounting and expenditure records, activity reporting and all necessary management support.
