Under the Conservation and Sustainable Management of Türkiye’s Wetlands, Climate Change and Biodiversity Conservation project, ANKON delivered awareness training to primary school pupils in Bolu and Konya. Forty-nine sessions reached 2,173 pupils in urban, district and village schools.

A vocational education survey was conducted in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Iran and Pakistan for JICA’s Extension of Industrial Automation Technologies Project.

ANKON’s responsibilities included:

• Collecting data in all target countries through stakeholder interviews, surveys and meetings on vocational education
• Designing survey and analysis methods; conducting socioeconomic, policy, planning, structural and technical analyses of VET; preparing a draft final report
• Preparing research and surveys drawing on the Turkish Ministry’s vocational education experience
• Strengthening Ministry capacity with JICA and adapting the resulting work to target countries
