The project expands Türkiye’s skills qualification and testing centres in refugee-hosting regions and extends coverage to target sectors.

The project aims to:

• Support the GSO Vocational Testing and Certification Centre through feasibility studies to obtain authorisation and accreditation for 13 qualifications at 17 levels
• Promote Syrian refugees’ economic integration by validating largely undocumented knowledge, skills and competencies
• Improve host community and Syrian refugee employability through skills validation
• Help local employers access workers with certified competencies suited to local economic needs.
