The project aims to increase capacity to implement LEADER. Services include:
- Training potential LAG board members from the first 12 provinces in LDS implementation
- Training potential LDS Evaluation Committee members in strategy assessment
- A seminar for senior municipal representatives in IPARD provinces and districts covered by potential LAGs
- Training potential LAG board members, technical teams and Ministry staff from a second group of 12 provinces in LDS implementation
- Rural tourism workshops for district-level LAG representatives
