The project aims to strengthen industrial production systems’ resilience to cyberattacks by training people with technical and non-technical backgrounds in operational technology (OT) cybersecurity. It addresses the shortage of cybersecurity specialists arising as Industry 4.0 technologies are integrated into manufacturing.

Training programmes will include theoretical and practical modules covering:

  • Fundamentals of Information and Operational Technologies
  • Network Security and Cryptography
  • Penetration Testing for OT Systems
  • Malware Analysis and Incident Response
  • Secure Coding and Software Security for OT

Training aims to improve understanding of OT cybersecurity challenges at every organisational level.

By project completion, 300 participants will have undertaken comprehensive blended training combining online and in-person sessions. Seventy will receive internationally recognised certificates, while a practical workshop based on on-the-job learning aims to reach 150 people.
