ANKON Consulting is seeking Sustainability Consultants with 0-3 years of experience to join its Sustainability Department. Sustainability Consultants will assist in advising clients on sustainable business practices and strategies, conducting assessments of clients’ current operations, and supporting the development of tailored sustainability solutions. Consultants will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to implement these solutions effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting assessments of clients’ sustainability practices and performance.
  • Support the analysis of data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
  • Help develop and support the implementation of customized sustainability strategies and action plans for clients.
  • Provide guidance on sustainable business practices, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and supply chain optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assist in implementing sustainability initiatives and monitoring their progress.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in sustainability.
  • Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings, preparing proposals, and assisting in delivering presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in sustainability consulting or related fields.
  • Familiarity with international and national sustainability reporting mechanisms.
  • Basic understanding of sustainability principles, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
  • Good project management skills, with the ability to assist in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with guidance.
