ANKON Consulting has been awarded by The Gabriel Al-Salem Foundation for Excellence in Consulting in the category of “Social Reform and Poverty Reduction”.
The Gabriel Al-Salem International Award is an independent annual award, which helps promoting professional standards and ethics in management consulting. Members of the Evaluation Committee include representatives from key institutions such as EBRD, ICMCI (International Council of Management Consulting Institutes), the UK Institute of Management Consultancy and IMC USA.
The Gabriel Al-Salem Foundation is a non-profit organization, which commemorates the life of the late Gabriel Al-Salem who worked as Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and development’s Business Advisory Program in Central Asia and made an enormous contribution to the development of the consulting industry. After his tragic death in 2010, the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) recognized Gabriel’s pioneering work and granted him the honorary title of “Member of the Meridian Order.” The Foundation aims to continue the charismatic character and professional excellence of his work to advance sustainable economic growth and civic institution-building in transitional and emerging market countries.
