We at TENMAK have entered the second phase of preparing Türkiye’s Hydrogen Action Plan with the World Bank on behalf of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. This phase will finalise the document, which complements the Türkiye Hydrogen Technologies Strategy and Roadmap published in 2023. A kick-off meeting was held with the Ministry, TENMAK, the World Bank and the project team. Planned for publication in November 2025, the action plan will strengthen hydrogen’s role in environmental sustainability, the low-carbon transition and Türkiye’s 2053 net-zero target. How Can Clean #Hydrogen Be Accelerated in Türkiye? How can Türkiye scale up clean hydrogen? At the invitation of TENMAK, the Ministry and the World Bank, key stakeholders met in İstanbul on 10 July to address this question. More than 70 representatives from business, academia and civil society attended.
